Tell us about training

Great news!

The Government has announced their plan for mandatory learning disability and autism training for 1.2 million health care staff and 1.6 million social care staff. This is a big win for Treat me well campaigners, including bereaved mother Paula McGowan who campaigned tirelessly on this issue in memory of her son, Oliver.

This training could transform how people with a learning disability are treated when they go into hospital.

Are you involved in delivering training already? Or have you been given training as a health or social care professional?

Tell us what's happening in your area. This will help us build a picture of what training is happening across England.
